Toyota announced today that it will be debuting its latest Prius at the 2012 North American International Auto show in Detroit Michigan.
Toyota Prius C Hybrid
Both the New Prius C Hybrid and the NS4, an advanced plug-in hybrid concept vehicle will be on display at the Riverview Ballroom at Cobo Center.
Another concept vehicle that will be unveiled at the International car show will be a new Lexus concept. The new Lexus will be following in the footsteps of its predecessors maintaining a contemporary, upscale design focusing on luxury. These vehicles will be joined by several other Toyota Prius models like the Prius Liftback, Prius v, the Prius Plug-in Hybrid, and the above mentioned subcompact Prius c.
The 2012 Prius Liftback MSRP ranges from $24,000 for the Prius Two model to $29,805 for Prius Five, reflecting a price increase ranging from 2.0 percent to 4.3 percent.
Both the 2012 Lexus and the 2012 Prius are among the 15 2012 vehicles offered by Toyota that earned a “Top Safety Pick award” from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). According to the IIHS, Top Safety Pick awards recognize vehicles that do the best job of protecting people in front, side, rollover, and rear crashes based on ratings in IIHS tests.
